A long, long orange line

I live fairly close to Nissan’s Sunderland Plant and I read that it has been chosen by its parent company in Japan to be one of only two global training centres for manufacturing excellence.

Production supervisors from Nissan facilities across Europe, India, The Middle East and South Africa will come to Sunderland to learn how to become ‘master trainers’ in all aspects of lean car production.

They will then return to their own countries and train their workforce up to a global standard skill level.

Running is good for you!Perhaps the guy above should have attended a course there? That way he wouldn’t have painted a single orange line stretching for miles and miles! He may have read this post on visual management and decided to give it a go himself :)
