Free lean & six-sigma resources
Carnegie Mellon University is offering an on-line Open and Free Minitab or Excel statistics course comparable to the full semester course. Access includes the complete on-line course including all expository text, simulations, case studies, comprehension tests, interactive learning exercises and StatTutor. The course covers the topics of Exploratory Data Analysis, Producing Data and Study Design, Probability and Statistical Inference. However, the Open & Free versions of the online course do NOT include access to the end-of-module graded exams or to the course instructor. No credit is awarded for completing the Open & Free Version of the course. The course itself is fantastic and I thoroughly recommend it to all budding Six Sigma enthusiasts.
Elsewhere Dartmouth University is offering a free pdf book which presents a thorough treatment of discrete and continuous probability. The material has been organized in such a way that the discrete and continuous probability discussions are presented in a separate, but parallel, manner. Outstanding!

You can have a free demo of nLighten™, an interactive e-learning course that teaches the concepts of Lean Six Sigma and process improvement. Follos this link: http://www.pivotalresources.com/products/nlight...
Designed as an introduction for new Black Belts and Green Belts, and as an awareness program, nLighten reinforces the principles that drive the Lean Six Sigma philosophy and how these methods are applied to business improvement initiatives.
Enjoy it!
